Weinberg Debate Tournament

Each year, the University of Richmond Debate Team hosts the Jay Weinberg Autumn Debate Tournament, which features eight rounds of preliminary competition for open and junior varsity, and seven rounds for novice.
 
Features of the tournament:

  • Half the teams at the tournament clear
  • Novice Teach-In session, where novices have the opportunity to engage in discussion and ask questions with a group of coaches and judges and meet other novices in a non-competitive environment.
  • The tournament abides by ADA, CEDA and NDT guidelines.
