Planning to Join

Whether you’re a seasoned debater from high school or have no previous debate experience, the Richmond Debate Team prides itself on accommodating students at every level. Those who have a background in debate will be able to participate in high level competition all over the country, while those who are just starting out will learn debate basics, with the advantage of studying under their more experienced teammates, along with observing other competitive collegiate teams around the country. As their skills strengthen, novice debaters will begin competing side by side with experienced debaters.
