In addition to big group forums and discussions, students will also work in lab groups and attend elective courses. The labs, both affirmative and negative, will discuss strategy and research positions on the resolution. The lab setting provides an excellent opportunity to find a partner and develop research strategies for the institute and the upcoming season. Lab groups will be kept small (10 students in each lab). Theory practicum and elective classes typically have six or fewer students, and each student will participate in at least 10 full debates.
